Roland Števko (born April 8, 1983 in Levice ) is a former Slovak football player .
Števko began his professional career with the Slovak first division club MFK Ružomberok - at that time still MŠK SCP Ružomberok - where he played in the 2001/02 season for the first time in the Corgoň League, the highest league in the country. In the following season he was a 20-year-old regular in the storm and was able to convince with 12 goals this season. His most successful year was the 2003/04 season, in which Ružomberok was runner-up and he made a significant contribution with his 17 goals. He was the top scorer in the league.
After another rather mixed year, the bitterest season in Števko's career came in 2005/06. After failing a transfer forced by the club, he was punished by having to serve the rest of his contract time in the stands. This season, of all times, the club became champions and cup winners in Slovakia without even playing a minute.
In 2006 he followed in the footsteps of his two compatriots Marek Mintál and Róbert Vittek , who had made careers in the second German Bundesliga , and joined SpVgg Greuther Fürth . But he could not gain a foothold there - also due to the long time without play.
In August 2007, Števko moved back to Ružomberok. In his third game after his return, in the game of the 11th matchday at FC Senec, Števko scored the decisive two goals for his team's 3-2 victory. But in the rest of the season only two more goals followed. In the following season 2008/09 Števko played mostly in the B team of Ružomberok in the second highest division. At the end of August 2009, Števko moved to the newly promoted FK Senica.
From 2011 to 2017 he played for lower-class clubs from Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia before ending his career.
