Roland Jeanneret

Roland Jeanneret (born March 18, 1947 in Bern ) is a Swiss journalist and communications specialist . He first gained prominence in the 1970s through the moderation of the “Children's News” on Swiss television . Above all, however, for two decades he was the defining voice of the Swiss "Swiss Solidarity ", a national and international disaster relief organization.

Roland Jeanneret has worked as a journalist and presenter for Swiss television and radio since the 1970s.

From 1991 to the end of 2010, Roland Jeanneret was the “voice of Swiss Solidarity” in German-speaking Switzerland, until mid-2009 as Head of Communications. Roland Jeanneret retired early in December 2010. Roland Jeanneret is still a lecturer at the Swiss journalism school MAZ in Lucerne .

Roland Jeanneret sees a staged conspiracy behind the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 , which is why he supported the “Investigate 911” initiative launched on the 10th anniversary of the attacks.

Roland Jeanneret is also active as a tour guide, photographer and book author. Furthermore, Roland Jeanneret was the first head of the press office at the University of Bern and is involved in several social and humanitarian foundations.
