Rolandas Zuoza

Rolandas Zuoza (born August 8, 1968 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian social democratic politician , vice minister and Seimas member.

Life

After graduating from high school in Antakalnis in 1986 , Zuoza worked as a moderator at Lietuvos radijas . From 1986 he studied history at the Pedagogical Institute in Vilnius . From 1987 to 1989 Zuoza did compulsory service in the Soviet Army . In 1993 he graduated from the Vilniaus pedagoginis universitetas (VPU) and became a teacher. In 1995 he wr graduate student Edukologie and taught at the VPU. From 1996 to 2000 he was a member of the Seimas . In 2001 he worked as a ministerial assistant in the Ministry of Education of Lithuania . In 2011 he received his doctorate in social sciences and became a lecturer at the Lietuvos edukologijos universitetas . From 2015 to 2016 he was Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Education of Lithuania, Deputy Minister Audronė Pitrėnienė in the Butkevičius Cabinet .

From 1993-2000 Zuoza was chairman of Lietuvos socialdemokratinio jaunimo sąjunga , from 2000 member of Naujoji sąjunga , from 2010 of Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
