The Roland Pass is a 2400 m high mountain pass in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It lies between the Vantage Hills in the west and the southwestern end of Gair Mesa in the east and leads from the Krefeld Plain to the head end of the Rennick Glacier .
Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX IV (1984–1985) made his name.
