Rolf Binder
Rolf Binder (born March 20, 1929 in Weiningen ZH ; † December 1, 2016 ) was a Swiss professional officer .
After completing a commercial training, Binder was an infantry instruction officer from 1958 . In 1963 he was General Staff Officer 1976 to 1978 he commanded the Infantry Regiment 28, 1982 to 1985 as a Major General , the Field Division 6 , 1986 to 1987, the Field Army Corps 2 . From 1988 to 1991 he was head of training in the Swiss Army . Binder last had the rank of corps commander .
