Rolf Dietrich "Blacky" Schwartz (born June 5, 1940 in Braunschweig ; † January 16, 2019 ) was a German journalist and author. Schwartz made a name for himself especially in economic policy , and was a voice with weight among connoisseurs in the Bonn Republic . Among other things, he wrote for the Frankfurter Rundschau . On September 4, 2001, Federal President Johannes Rau presented him with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany .
