Rolf F. Rehe

Rolf F. Rehe (* 1935 ) is a German newspaper designer.

Life

Deer worked at the Herron School of Art , USA. He is an international newspaper designer whose work has taken him to 32 countries on every continent. His redesigns primarily include daily newspapers in the USA, South America and many European countries.

After finishing school, Rehe trained as a typesetter with the Haller Tagblatt . In the late 1950s he decided to emigrate to the United States. There he studied visual communication at Indiana University and then worked there as a professor for ten years. In 1979 he was a founding member of the Society for News Design (SND). From 1982 he organized seminars on newspaper design in cooperation with IFRA in Darmstadt. Today Rehe lives in Vienna.
