Rolf Granow

Rolf Granow (born January 6, 1953 in Gütersloh ) is a professor at the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences in the mechanical engineering and economics department. He studied mechanical engineering and is an e-learning officer at Lübeck University of Applied Sciences.

Life

After studying at the University of Hanover , he received his doctorate in 1983 on the planning of flexible automated production systems and then worked as managing director in the sales of information systems for production. In 1994 he was appointed professor for management and organization in the mechanical engineering department at the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences. In 1998 he took over the project management of the federal lead project Virtual University of Applied Sciences , in which the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences was in charge . In 2002 he initiated the university association "Baltic Sea Virtual Campus".

In 2001 he headed the e-learning department at the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, which includes a team for the production and operation of online courses and modules and which implements national and international third-party funded projects. Rolf Granow has been the managing director of oncampus GmbH since 2003, a spin-off from the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences, which provides e-learning services for the Virtual University of Applied Sciences and is active in the market for scientific online training.

Granow is a member of the topic group "Internationalization & Marketing Strategies" at the University Forum Digitization initiated in 2014 by the Center for University Development, University Rectors ' Conference and Donors' Association , which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research .
