Rolf Kessler

Rolf Kessler (born January 13, 1942 in Munich ) is a German lawyer . He was rector of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences .

Life

Rolf Kessler studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and was legal advisor to the Rector of the University of Regensburg from 1971 .

In 1972 he followed the call of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences to the professorship of "Administrative Law" and "Obligation to Supervise and Liability in Open Youth Work". This was followed by activities as dean of the social pedagogy department and as prorector of the university of applied sciences. From 1983 to 1986 he held the post of rector for the first time . After his first term of office, teaching activities in the social and cultural sciences department and research on non-technical parts of engineering studies followed. For the years 1995 to 2002 Kessler was re-elected rector (or after renaming the office to president) of the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences.
