Rolf Krauss (soccer player)

Rolf Krauss (born October 21, 1930 ) is a former German soccer player .

Krauss began his career at SpVgg Cannstatt . In 1950 he moved to VfB Stuttgart . Krauss was very flexible and even replaced the injured goalkeeper Karl Bögelein at VfB . In the Oberliga Süd he played 67 games for VfB in which he scored 11 goals. On June 22, 1952 Krauss played in the final of the German championship for VfB as a right defender against 1. FC Saarbrücken and became German champions with a 3-2 win with Stuttgart . After he won the DFB Cup with VfB Stuttgart in 1954 , Krauss moved to VfR Heilbronn in 1956 .
