Rolf Krost

Rolf Krost (born March 1, 1931 ) is a former German soccer player. For the BSG Einheit Ost Leipzig he played in 1953 in the GDR Oberliga , the top division in GDR football .

Athletic career

In the GDR-wide soccer game operation, Rolf Krost appeared at the age of 19 in the second-class league of the German Sports Committee , which was later referred to as the GDR League . For the company sports community (BSG) Einheit Ost Leipzig, he played five matches of the 18 league games in 1950/51 and scored one goal. In his second league season in 1951/52 he belonged to the extended game trunk with thirteen inserts in 22 point games and two goals. When the BSG Einheit Ost rose to the GDR league in 1953, Krost was not used for the entire season. In his only league season in 1953 he was called up in the first half of the season in three point games. He played in defense, where he only acted as a substitute on his last appearance. Since he did not score in the league, it remained in his short career with three goals in the GDR league. After his league debut, he no longer appeared in higher-class football.
