Rolf Langhammer

Rolf Johannes Langhammer (born July 29, 1947 in Bad Wildungen ) is a German economist .

Life

From 1967 to 1971 Langhammer studied economics at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel . He then specialized in development and trade issues, especially in Asia . Through this work he became a sought-after economic policy advisor around the world . From 1972 he worked for the Institute for the World Economy in Kiel and was its vice-president. Langhammer is still on the scientific advisory board of the Bertelsmann Transformation Index today .
