Rolf Seebauer

Rolf Seebauer (born July 18, 1945 in Bad Kissingen ; † May 1, 2017 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Seebauer attended elementary school and grammar school, studied economics and received his doctorate. He then worked in market research and management consulting. From 1976 he worked as a manager and independently in management consulting. He was a member of the trade union trade, banking and insurance , in the initiative group of the Federal Chancellor and the discussion group "Economy and Politics" of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung . His areas of work were economic policy, economic and structural policy as well as self-employed and SME issues .

Seebauer was initially an economic advisor to the Bavarian SPD and then a long-term member of the Presidium and State Executive Committee of the Bavarian SPD. From 1974 until his early departure on December 15, 1992, he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
