Rolf Speckner

Rolf Leonhard Speckner (born October 8, 1949 in Hamburg ) is a German writer and lecturer at anthroposophical institutions.

Live and act

Rolf Speckner entered the Anthroposophical Society in 1967 through an encounter with the philosopher Hans Börnsen . After studying physics , mathematics and philosophy from 1969 to 1977, Speckner began to work with the early historian Walther Matthes (1901-1997), with whom he researched the Externsteine . In 1983 he became a member of the branch management at the Rudolf Steiner House in Hamburg and has since been involved in tasks within the Anthroposophical Society in Germany. He was one of the "co-founders of the seminar for anthroposophy".

Speckner publishes the posthumous works of the philosopher Hans Börnsen. He is also a lecturer at the Hamburg Art Academy and employee of the anthroposophical research center Kulturimpuls. As an author, Rolf Speckner also contributes to various magazines in the German-speaking area, including Das Goetheanum , the Swiss magazine Gegenwart and the German magazine Der Kreis .

From an anthroposophical point of view, Speckner made contributions to various topics of European history, for example researching the Knights Templar , and supported Walther Matthes in his research on Corvey .
