Román Acevedo Rojas (born February 26, 1908 in Tarimoro , Mexico , † May 29, 1994 ) was auxiliary bishop in Morelia .

Life

Román Acevedo Rojas received on 17 December 1932, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On November 29, 1967, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular bishop of Thamugadi and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Morelia. The coadjutor archbishop of Morelia, Manuel Martín del Campo Padilla , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19, 1968 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Ciudad Victoria , José de Jesús Tirado Pedraza , and the Bishop of Ciudad Altamirano , Juan Navarro Ramírez .

On March 3, 1983, Pope John Paul II accepted Román Acevedo Rojas' resignation due to reasons of age.
