Sabás Magaña García (born January 24, 1921 in Morelia , Michoacán , Mexico ; † November 7, 1990 ) was Bishop of Matamoros .

Life

Sabas Magaña García received on 23 September 1944, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 30, 1968, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the bishop of Matamoros. Pope Paul VI donated him episcopal ordination on January 6, 1969 ; Co-consecrators were the Archbishops of the Curia, Sergio Pignedoli , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , and Ernesto Civardi , Secretary of the Consistorial Congregation .
