Román Casanova Casanova (born August 29, 1956 in Deltebre , Spain ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Vic .
Life
Román Casanova Casanova received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Tortosa on May 17, 1981 .
On June 13, 2003, Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Vic. The Archbishop of Barcelona , Ricardo María Cardinal Carles Gordó , donated him episcopal ordination on September 14th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the bishop emeritus of Vic, Josep Maria Guix , and the bishop of Tortosa, Javier Salinas Viñals .
