Roman Bösch (born November 10, 1964 in Zofingen ) is a Swiss author , writer and psychologist .

Life

Roman Bösch was born on November 10, 1964 with a rare hereditary disease, phosphate diabetes , which occurs in early childhood and as a result he had to undergo several major operations as a child and adolescent. The disturbed bone mineralization leads to severe skeletal deformities and growth delays. The clinical symptoms are similar to those of rickets .

He spent his childhood and youth in Allschwil and Läufelfingen . He has lived in Zurich since 1976 . After an apprenticeship as a structural draftsman, which he had to break off after a year and completed commercial training, he earned the federal Matura (Type B / Latin) on the second educational path in 1990 in evening studies. This time was repeatedly interrupted by three major operations. After dropping out of medical studies at the University of Zurich in 1993, which he had to give up due to his serious illness, which made it impossible for him to complete essential parts of his practical studies, he worked as an author, lecturer and psychologist at a private one University of Lucerne , where he also received the Dr. phil. I (private university). The title of his philosophical dissertation: "From the primal principles of nature and religion" (2001) received much recognition. There he was promoted to a member of the executive board as well as to sales director and sat on the board of directors from November 2003 to January 2007. In mid-2005 he left the university.

He served as a juror in two cases at the Zurich Higher Court . He has been working as a psychologist and life coach in Zurich since 2007 and is the author of his books.

On August 21, 2007, Knecht Verlag , Freiburg , published an imprint from Karl Alber Verlag within the Herder publishing group , his debut novel, a fictional autobiography of Heinrich von Kleist based on his writings. "Kleist's Story of My Soul". In February 2012, at Edition fabrica libri, Schalksmühle, the philosophical novel "Agrippa's Dream" followed, a dark painting of the Renaissance scholar Agrippa von Nettesheim at the time of plague, hardship and human despair.

In September 2013 his philosophical utopia "Beyond Atlantis" came on the market. From destructive egoism to true humanism. An interesting journey into the future. His polarizing autobiography "Sick Society" was published in the same year. In it he openly describes the irresponsibility of the state and institutions towards its fellow citizens.
