Roman Steinkogler

Roman Steinkogler (born September 29, 1980 in Vöcklabruck ) is an Austrian musician , music producer , songwriter and teacher .

Career

Steinkogler grew up in Ebensee . He began piano training at the Landesmusikschule Ebensee (1985–1996), continued to take lessons at the Landesmusikschule Gmunden and majored in piano at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz (Bachelor and Master’s degree IGP Jazz).

As a musician, Roman Steinkogler performed on stage with various musicians and bands (e.g. Poxrucker Sisters , Daniel Küblböck , Beatcollective , Stoabeck, Harald Baumgartner, Carl Peyer, Tamee Harrison).

Roman Steinkogler has been the owner of a company based in Bad Mitterndorf since 2008 and produces recordings by various artists (e.g. Poxrucker Sisters , Beatcollective , Carl Peyer, Lyn Vysher, Harald Baumgartner, Stoabeck) as well as music for advertising and TV (Castrol, Expert, AUA, WKO Austria, guest & host). He is also active as a songwriter and co-writer (Charlie Mason).

In addition to his assignments as a musician and producer, Roman Steinkogler has been teaching instrumental at the Private Pedagogical University of the Diocese of Linz since 2010.

In 2013 Roman Steinkogler and his business partner Jürgen Leitner expanded their company and opened another studio in Ebensee in addition to the existing recording studio in Bad Mitterndorf .

For the song “Glick” on the album “Poxrucker Sisters” he was nominated for the Amadeus Austrian Music Award as Songwriter of the Year in 2015 .
