Romano Cuonz (born August 25, 1945 in Chur , Graubünden ) is a Swiss writer , journalist and nature photographer .

Life

Cuonz attended the primary school teacher seminar in Zug and then trained at the universities of Zurich , Lausanne and Florence to become a secondary teacher of philology. I off. He taught in Freienbach, Cham, Kerns, Sarnen and Lungern as a primary, secondary and vocational school teacher. From 1978 to 2011 he was editor and presenter at Radio DRS (Regional Journal Central Switzerland and Palette / Studio Basel ).

He has been a contributor and columnist for newspapers and magazines since 1971 .

Romano Cuonz is the author of narrative works, poems , radio plays and theater pieces ; he partly writes in Obwalden dialect . His nature photographs have been published in books and various other publications.

Romano Cuonz is a member of the Association of Authors of Switzerland and the Central Switzerland Association of Writers, where he was also a member of the board. Romano Cuonz lives in Sarnen .
