The Romecke is a 4.3 km long orographically right tributary of the Möhne in Rüthen in North Rhine-Westphalia , Germany .

geography

The stream rises in the Ringelsteiner Forest northwest of the Streitberg at an altitude of 416  m above sea level. NN . Initially it flows in predominantly western directions through the Kneblinghauser Forest . It flows through the Aschenhütte nature reserve and the Romecke stream systems . At stationing kilometer 1.3 its course turns to the southwest. After 4.3 km of the river, the Romecke flows out at an altitude of 314  m above sea level. NN in the Möhne . With a height difference of 102 meters, the mean bed slope is 23.7 ‰. The 7,087 km² catchment area is drained to the North Sea via the Möhne, Ruhr and Rhine .
