Romnæsfjellet is a 1500 m high, prominent and isolated mountain in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises 35 km northwest of the Brattnipane in the main group of the Sør Rondane Mountains .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it in 1946 using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 . It is named after the Norwegian aerial photographer Nils Romnæs (1902–1943), a participant in this research trip.
