Romualdas Požerskis
Romualdas Požerskis (born July 7, 1951 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian photographer and professor .
Life
After graduating from high school from 1957 to 1969 at the 8th Kaunas Middle School , he graduated from 1969 to 1975 with a diploma at the electrical engineering faculty at the Kauno politechnikos institutas in Kaunas . From 1975 to 1980 he worked in the Kaunas department of Lietuvos fotografijos meno draugija . Since 1976 he has been a member of Lietuvos fotomenininkų sąjunga . From 1993 to 2011 he taught as a lecturer at the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas . He has been a professor since 2011.
Požerskis is married and has two children.

- 2004: Herder Prize from the Alfred Toepfer Foundation FVS
- 2005: Order for Services to Lithuania , Riterio kryžius
- 2009: Balys Buračas Prize from the Ministry of Culture of Lithuania
