Ron Dohanetz

Ron Dohanetz (born May 31, 1980 in Wittenberg ) is a pop songwriter from Berlin.

Career

Ron Dohanetz first appeared as a musician at the age of 16. The mother and two uncles ( Stefan Dohanetz with Pankow , Hans-Peter Dohanetz with Electra ) were and are musically active. In his first band "Subriss" he toured Germany and neighboring countries for seven years and gained experience at around 1000 concerts. After a record deal with the label “Sing Deutsch” and ((SPV)) the band split up because of different ideas about the future.

Between 2005 and 2008 Ron Dohanetz was together with his sister Jenna as Jenna + Ron . Among other things, they were represented at the Bundesvision Song Contest 2007 and then in the charts.

After the duo ended, Dohanetz worked in various jobs, including in the fashion scene, as a stunt trainee, as an actor in short films, in the tourism industry, as a press text translator and as a vocal coach, and traveled the world.

In 2009 he signed a publishing contract with Universal Music and made a name for himself as a songwriter and track builder through several successes. He wrote for Daniel Schuhmacher , LaVive and Mehrzad Marashi , among others . In June 2011 he was co-author of She's Got Moves for Kevin Kayirangwa, who won the “Idool 2011” competition, the Belgian equivalent of DSDS . The song was number 1 on the Flemish charts for two weeks and achieved gold status .

Dohanetz lives and works in Berlin.
