Ron Pinkard
Ronald F. "Ron" Pinkard (born January 22, 1941 in Denver , Colorado ) is an American actor who is known primarily through his role as Dr. Mike Morton became famous in the television series Emergency California .
Life
Ron Pinkard first attended Manual High School and later studied pre-med (a degree in the USA that prepares for later medical studies) for four years . He served as Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserve as a pilot of an A-6 Intruder .
In 1968 Pinkard turned completely to acting and played in numerous episodes of well-known television series and feature films, mostly in the role of a doctor or a police officer. Since September 15, 1991 he has been chairman of the Denver Film Commission .
