Ronald Ede

Ronald Ede (born July 7, 1925 ) is a retired British hurdler and sprinter .

At the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 , he was sixth in the 400 m hurdles and won silver in the 4 x 400 meter relay . The following year he won bronze in the 400 m hurdles at the International University Games.

In 1946 he became English champion over the 440 yard hurdles. He set his personal best over the 400 m hurdles of 54.9 s on September 7, 1947 in Paris .
