Ronald Kaoma Chitotela

Ronald Kaoma Chitotela (born April 21, 1972 ) is a Zambian politician of the Patriotic Front (PF).

Life

Chitotela completed a degree in business administration with a focus on marketing , from which he completed both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA General) and a BBA Marketing, and then worked as a specialist in trade at the company VAN-TEK in Kitwe . He was elected for the first time as a member of the National Assembly of Zambia as a candidate of the Patriotic Front (PF) in the 2011 elections and was re-elected in the election on August 11, 2016 and represents the constituency of Pambashe .

After serving as Vice Minister for Youth and Sports between February and August 2016, President Edgar Lungu appointed him Minister for Public Works and Supply in his cabinet in August 2016 . Just two months later, in October 2016, he took over the post of Minister for Housing and Infrastructure Development as part of a government reshuffle, while his previous post as Minister for Public Works and Utilities was taken over by Mathew Nkhuwa .
