WNBA

Roneeka Hodges was selected in the WNBA Draft 2005 by the Houston Comets in the second round and in the 15th place overall. In the 2005 season she got relatively little playing time and was never in the starting line-up of the Comets. In the 2006 season , their playing time nearly tripled. She stood on the field for an average of 21.2 minutes per game. During this time she scored 7.5 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist per game. Despite these good performances, their playing time fell to 11.4 minutes per game in the 2007 season , which of course also had a negative effect on their remaining values for this season.

On February 6, 2008, Hodges was selected by the Atlanta Dream in the Expansion Draft . Shortly thereafter, she and a first-round pick were transferred to the Seattle Storm for a first-round pick and Iziane Castro Marques . When the Storm reduced their squad to 14 players, Hodgers had to leave the team. Since she was again traded as a free agent , the Houston Comets took Hodges back under contract.
