Ronen Rubinstein
Ronen Rubinstein (born November 7, 1993 in Rehovot , Israel ) is an American actor , screenwriter and director.
Life
Rubinstein was born in Israel and has one more sister. His family moved to the United States , where he attended and graduated from high school in the Staten Island area .
Rubinstein's first film role was that of gangsta in Detachment (2011). In the same year he played as Insurgent 2 in the short film Katya and in 2012 in the short film A Promise Is a Promise . In 2013 he wrote, directed and acted in "Something in the Way".
His breakthrough as an actor came with a role in the television series Orange Is the New Black , where he appeared as Nathan in season 3, episode 10.
In 2016 he took on the role of Alex Powell in the television series Dead of Summer , which aired on Freeform from June 2016.
In 2020 he was offered a leading role alongside Rob Lowe in the new television series 9-1-1: Lone Star , a spin-off of the series 9-1-1: Notruf LA . He took on the role of TK Strand .
