Jamie Marks Is Dead ( English for Jamie Marks is dead ) is an American drama from 2014. It is based on the novel One for Sorrow by Christopher Barzak .

One day the body of 15-year-old Jamie Marks is found by Gracie Highsmith in a small town by the river. Until his death, no one had cared about the boy except for a few of his peers who teased him. Shortly after the body is found, Gracie and Adam begin seeing the ghost of Jamie Marks.

The film received positive feedback at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival .
