Judy Greer
Judy Greer (* 20th July 1975 in Detroit , Michigan , as Judith Laura Evans ) is an American actress .
Career
Because of the similar names of other actresses (Judy Evans and the like) Evans chose her mother's maiden name, Greer, as the stage name. Judy Greer studied acting at DePaul University in Chicago , which she graduated in 1997. Just three days later, she was hired for two men, a woman and a wedding and moved to Los Angeles . She then starred in many films, including Wedding Planner - Verliebt, engaged, verplant (2001), Adaptation - The Orchid Thief (2002) and Elizabethtown (2005). In 2004 she was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her role as Lucy Wyman in the comedy 30 Overnight . In the successful Chuck Lorre - sitcom Two and a Half Men Greer starred in two episodes of the fourth season in 2007 Myra Lang, the sister of Herb Melnick , a brief relationship with Charlie Harper had.
In the FX cartoon series Archer , Greer has spoken the Cheryl Tunt in the original version since 2009. In the 2010 series The Big Bang Theory , also created by Lorre , Greer played Sheldon's pen pal Dr. Elizabeth Plimpton. In 2011 she starred in the sitcom Mad Love in the lead role of Connie Grabowski alongside Sarah Chalke and Jason Biggs , the series only had 13 episodes.
For the ninth season of Two and a Half Men , Greer was signed as a recurring guest star in 2011. She took on the role of Bridget Schmidt, the still-wife of the new main character Walden Schmidt .
Her work includes more than 100 film and television productions.
In 2017 she was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which awards the Oscars every year.
Personal
In December 2011, Greer married producer Dean Johnson, with whom she has been dating since 2010.
