The Ronnebyån is a river in the provinces County Kronoberg and Blekinge in the far south of Sweden .
The river forms the outflow of the Rottnen , a lake in the south of Småland in the municipality of Lessebo . He leaves this on its southeastern bank. Then it flows through the smaller lakes Knäsjön, Veden and Virus. It flows mainly in a southerly direction. It flows through the town of Kallinge and the town of Ronneby . After 85 km it flows into the Baltic Sea south of Ronneby . The catchment area of Ronnebyån covers 1112.7 km². The mean discharge at the mouth is 8 m³ / s.
