Ronnie Aguilar , nicknamed Big Ron (born June 24, 1987 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American basketball player who plays on the position of the center .

Career

High school

Aguilar spent his high school years at John Marshall High School , where he played basketball , volleyball, and American football . In basketball he was twice the MVP of his team and team captain . He also holds several school records in basketball.

college

During his college time at Colorado State University (2005-2010) he played for the local men's basketball team, the Colorado State Rams, where he played in several games through double-double stats and very good defensive performance in the blocks and rebounds could shine.

Development League

In the 2011/12 season he played 6 games for the Bakersfield Jam in the NBA Development League (D-League) and contributed an average of 2.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in 11.5 minutes of playing time per game.

NBA

For the preseason of the 2012/13 NBA season he was signed by the Los Angeles Lakers , the most famous team in his hometown Los Angeles , and released on October 20, before the start of regular time.

Personal

Ronnie Aguilar is the son of Lilian Romero from Honduras and Gabriel Aguilar from El Salvador . This makes him the first NBA player with this parentage. He has two brothers, Kivin and Jason, and a sister named Jasmine. His favorite movie is Spike Lee's "Game of Life" and his favorite TV show is the English version of " The Price is Hot ".
