Rosa Lyon
Rosa Lyon (* 1979 in Graz ) is an Austrian journalist and television presenter .
In addition to various activities in the field of organization and marketing, she studied economics at the Vienna University of Economics between 2000 and 2005 and then worked as an editor and director for radio broadcasts for Ö1 . It mainly deals with the preparation of economic and socio-political contexts.
Since April 2016 she and Gaby Konrad have been the news anchor of the Zeit-im-Bild early editions at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, 8:00 and 8:30 - as part of the ORF breakfast television Guten Tomorrow Austria . Since January 2019, the ZiB has also presented it at 1 p.m.
During the broadcast of the 7:30 a.m. edition on September 23, 2019, Lyon collapsed on the way to the moderation table and passed out. The broadcast was then interrupted and Lyon was taken to hospital ; Early reporter Simone Stribl jumped in for her and moderated the other ZiB issues of the day.
She has a daughter and lives with her family in Vienna.
