Rosalina Ximenes

Rosalina Ximenes (born March 7, 1963 in Uacala , Baucau , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor .

Career

Ximenes holds a bachelor's degree in law.

At the first National Congress of the Partidu Libertasaun Popular (PLP) in late May 2017, Ximenes was elected third of six deputies to party leader Taur Matan Ruak . With third place on the list, Ximenes succeeded in entering the national parliament of East Timor as a member of the parliamentary elections in 2017 . Here she was secretary of the Commission for Economy and Development (Commission D). In the early elections in 2018 , Ximenes was in 18th place in the Aliança para Mudança e Progresso (AMP), to which the PLP also belongs, and came back to parliament. Ximenes is again a member of the Commission for Economy and Development (Commission D).
