Roschen ( Bulgarian Рожен ) is a village in the municipality of Sandanski in Blagoevgrad Oblast in southwestern Bulgaria .

The village of Roschen is located in the Macedonia countryside at the foothills of the Pirin Mountains and in the immediate vicinity of the Roschen monastery of the same name .

Nearby are the striking sandstone pillars of the Melnik pyramids and the village of Karlanowo (Клрланово).
