Kurt Glockzin

Kurt Glockzin (* 1953 ) is a German actor, audio book and radio play speaker.

Life

Growing up in Kassel with his twin brother Ludwig-Christian Glockzin , who is also an actor, and two older siblings, he studied educational science at the Philipps University of Marburg after graduating from high school . As a qualified pedagogue , he worked in various social institutions before starting an acting training with Hildburg Frese in Hamburg in 1979 .

Stations in his theater career were Hamburg , Würzburg , Hanover , Berlin and from 1985 to 1995 the Dortmund Theater . Since then he has been working as a freelancer. He played several times at the theater in the room in Hamburg at Gerda Gmelin from 1997 to 2003, in Hamburg Everyman by Michael Batz at HamburgArtEnsemble.

Since 1994 he has been in front of the camera again and again, working a. a. with Evelyn Hamann , Rosel Zech , Ulrich Mühe , Vadim Glowna , Jan-Gregor Kremp , Benno Fürmann , Kaspar Heidelbach and Niki Stein.

In 2008 he played the male German lead in the Russian film "By the sea", a comedy.

His activities as a speaker include a. the reading of audio books and the participation in radio plays up to computer games.

Since 2004 he has also worked as a lecturer for scenic representation and speaking technology at the Singer Academy in Hamburg .

With the birth of his daughter in 1998, Hamburg became the center of his life again.
