history

The Roseggerhaus was named after Peter Rosegger , an Austrian writer who was born in the Waldheimat . The shelter was founded in 1900 and was implemented on the initiative of Toni Schruf , who supported the idea and collected donations. The hut was destroyed by fire in 1989 and rebuilt in 1990.
