The Alois-Günther-Haus is a year-round refuge of the Alpine Club Edelweiss of the ÖAV at 1782 m above sea level. A. in the Fischbach Alps at the summit of the Stuhleck .
history
Alois Günther, chairman of the alpine association Die Stuhlecker , was the main initiator of the construction of the hut, the foundation stone of which was laid in 1914 and which was completed in 1915. The house , which was empty during the war years , was opened on August 20, 1919.
In January 1959, the Alpine Club Edelweiss section of the ÖAV acquired the hut.
