Rosenell Baud

Rosenell Baud (* 1942 in the Canton of Vaud , Switzerland ) is a Swiss-Colombian painter , draftsman and teacher.

life and work

Rosenell studied fine arts from 1958 to 1963 at the École des Beaux-Arts and Arts Appliques in Lausanne . During a trip to Paris she met an anthropologist, with whom she moved to Latin America as her personal assistant. She has lived in Bogotá since 1968, where she completed her Master of Fine Arts degree at the National University of Colombia in Bogotá in 1968 . She was a professor at the Universidad del Rosario and a teacher in the metal engraving workshop, Atena Galería de Arte in Bogotá. From 1979 to 1995 she was a lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad De La Salle (Bogotá). She held workshops at the Bogotá Museum of Modern Art and in 1990 founded the Rosenell Baud Atelier in Bogotá, where she teaches artists and accompanies them in their work processes.
