Rosenthal & Maeder
Rosenthal & Maeder (also Rosenthal and Maeder , abbreviated also RuM or RM ) was a German foundry in Berlin .
history
Rosenthal & Maeder produced decorative bronze and ivory figures in the Art Deco style in the mid-1920s . The company was located at Dresdner Straße 88/89 and had an exhibition room at Ritterstraße 59.
The company implemented works by sculptors such as Franz Peleschka , Anton Puchegger , Hans Harders , Ernst Beck , Dorothea Charol , Otto Poertzel , Paul Phillipe and Richard Lange .
In 1929 the company was merged into Preiss & Kassler , which the artists from Rosenthal & Maeder took over in large numbers and many of them continued to publish their works.
