Hans Harders

Hans Harders (* 1875 in Mörel (Holstein) , † 1955 in Berlin ) was a German sculptor and medalist .

Life

Harders studied at the Berlin Art Academy and Dresden Art Academy . The artist worked in Berlin and made statuettes and porcelain sculptures in Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles . The shape of his bronzes was implemented by the Berlin foundry Rosenthal & Maeder , among others , and later (after they were taken over in 1929) by Preiss & Kassler . In the 1920s he created a series of models for the Fraureuth porcelain factory .
