Roswitha Stolfa

Roswitha Stolfa (born February 15, 1942 in Mansfeld ) is a former PDS politician . She represented her party as a member of the People's Chamber and Bundestag in 1990  - and from 1994 to 2002 in the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

Stolfa was born as Roswitha Helene Hebestadt in Mansfeld on February 15, 1942. During her school days in Mansfeld and Hettstedt , she was a student at the Hettstedt children's and youth sports school . She graduated from EOS Hettstedt in 1960 . Then Stolfa took up a teaching degree for German and history at the PH Dresden , which she completed in 1964 as a subject teacher.

She taught at the EOS "Karl-Marx" in Halle-Neustadt , and in 1989 she became a teacher. After leaving the Bundestag until she moved into the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt, she taught at a grammar school in Halle-Neustadt from 1991 to 1994.

politics

Stolfa became a member of the SED in 1964 . She was a member of school party leaderships. Politically engaged in autumn 1989, she was elected to the state executive committee of the PDS Saxony-Anhalt in 1990 and ran for the Volkskammer election in 1990 for the PDS in the Halle district .

Since the PDS was able to win six seats in this district, Stolfa became a member of the People's Chamber. She was also one of the 144 MPs who entered the German Bundestag on October 3, 1990.

In 1994 she won a direct mandate in the 1994 state elections in Saxony-Anhalt. She was elected one of the two vice-presidents in the state parliament. In 1998 she moved back into the state parliament and was re-elected as one of the vice-presidents.

In 2002, Stolfa did not run again and retired.
