Rosy Varte (born on 22. November 1923 in Constantinople Opel as Nevarte Manouelia , died on 14. January 2012 in Neuilly-sur-Seine , France ) was a French actress .

Life

At the Théâtre national populaire she played with Jean Vilar and in the cinema Rosy Varte specialized in comic roles after minor roles between 1948 and 1955. She has better-known parts as the sister of the title hero in My Uncle Benjamin and as the frustrated heiress in Pierre Tchernias Le Viager .
