Rotaria citrina is a kind of the genus Rotaria from the root of the rotifer .
description
The animals reach a size of 600–1100 µm and have a punctured cuticle that is colored by green granules. They have a short dorsal button. The trunk gradually merges into the foot.

The species is common as a bank shape in ponds and pools , but it also lives in the sea .
