The Red Ridge is a medium-sized impact crater in the Namib in southern Namibia within the Tsau-ǁKhaeb- (restricted area) national park (formerly diamond restricted area ), in the ǁKaras region .

The crater has a diameter of about 2.5 kilometers and is about 130 meters deep, whereby it is covered with a layer of sand about 100 meters thick. The age of the crater is estimated to be about 3.7 (± 0.3) million years; its origin falls into the Pliocene . Its breccia can only be found on the crater rim .

The crater can be seen as a circular ring in the upper center of the image. The finger-like white area on the lower left edge of the picture is a small mountain group consisting of solid rock from the Buschmannberg and Wasserkuppe .
