Roter Rain is a residential area in the Lauda-Königshofen district of Königshofen in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

geography

Roter Rain is located about 800 meters northwest of Königshofen and about 350 meters southeast of Lauda directly above the tracks of the Frankenbahn .

history

On the table sheet no. 6424 "Königshofen" from 1881 the place was still completely uninhabited.

The living space came as part of the formerly independent city of Königshofen to the city of Lauda-Königshofen on January 1, 1975, when the city of Lauda merged with the city of Königshofen and the community of Unterbalbach as part of the regional reform in Baden-Württemberg .

The place can be reached via an extension of Bahnhofstrasse from the direction of Lauda and via the Taubertal cycle path from the direction of Königshofen and Lauda. Immediately in front of the living space, the Taubertal Cycle Path branches off into two parts coming from the direction of Königshofen. the left part leads through an underpass of the Frankenbahn to the living space.
