Red House (Seelbach)

The Red House is an event location and cultural association in Seelbach .

The Red House is located in Seelbach near Flammersfeld ( Westerwald ). The building was built as an inn at the station around 1912 and was a family-owned guesthouse until 1977, after which it was leased as a restaurant until 1980. In 1981 it was bought by a group of private individuals and initially used as a conference center for ten years, i.e. until 1991 . Since then it has been a house for a community . At the same time the association Das Rote Haus eV was founded, which has set up a cultural facility with a cabaret program in the hall and in the restaurant . Ulrich Roski , Heinrich Pachl , Jürgen Becker , Gaby Köster , Norbert Alich and Gernot Voltz performed , among others .
