history
In the second half of the 12th century, the Lords of Rottbach are handed down as ministerials to the Counts of Dachau. In the middle of the 14th century, the Eisenhofers came into possession of the village via hereditary path. The Weilbachers, who then owned the village, sold their property in 1389 to the Munich citizen Sighart Hudler, who in 1402 sold the village to the Fürstenfeld monastery . The Hofmark remained with the monastery until the secularization in 1802/03.
