The Round Hill is a 380 m high, round and ice-free hill on the island of Heard in the southern Indian Ocean . It rises south of Fairchild Beach between Compton Glacier and Brown Glacier .
Participants in the British Challenger Expedition (1872–1876) carried out a rough mapping in 1874. In 1948 it was measured and descriptively named by scientists from the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions .
